The traditional
inverted triangle.
SPEC uses the same traditional pattern for its special, Takumi, special-order and standard bodies: an inverted-triangle shape that narrows towards the hem.
The chart below applies across these bodies. Compare measurements and your preferred fit, rather than choosing only by the size label of your everyday clothes.

Width is the flat measurement from armpit to armpit. It is half the garment circumference, not a full chest circumference.
Size labels do not indicate availability. Confirm the sizes offered for a particular piece before ordering. Measurements alone cannot guarantee your preferred fit.

Length
From the attachment below the back collar rib to the bottom of the hem rib.
Width, flat
Measure across the garment laid flat, from one armpit to the other.
Sleeve, from centre back
Measure from the centre line of the back to the cuff end. This starts at a different point from a shoulder-seam sleeve measurement.
